A modern, practical combination gun with double lock, manual cocking, and exposed rifle barrel - this is the concept of the Merkel combination gun B3. With the double lock manual cocking system, the B3 can be carried relaxed and safely. The top-mounted trigger rods and safety catch rods, as well as the automatic relaxation process when opening the lock, provide additional safety. The double lock system allows for two shots in quick succession. The classic combination with the proven shotgun caliber 12 is, for good reason, the most commonly carried 'combination gun'. The steel shot-proof shotgun barrel, in conjunction with the free-floating rifle barrel and the highly durable, removable hunter's tipping block lock, is the solution for the hunting ground without compromise. The 55 cm long adjustable barrel bundle consists of a shotgun barrel caliber 12/76 and a free-floating, horizontally and vertically adjustable rifle barrel for high precision and good warm shot behavior. It is factory-prepared for the Suhl tipping mount. For precise rifle shooting, the front trigger has a set trigger. The stock with pistol grip, Bavarian cheek piece, and pig back is finished with a rubber butt plate. The system box showcases its exclusivity with hand-engraved hunting motifs.

Eine moderne, praxisgerechte Bockbüchsflinte mit Doppelschloss, Handspannung und freiliegendem Kugellauf - das ist das Konzept der Merkel Bockbüchsflinte B3. Mit dem Zweischloss-Handspannersystem kann die B3 entspannt und sicher geführt werden. Die oben liegenden Abzugstangen und Sicherheitsfangstangen sowie der automatische Entspannvorgang beim Öffnen des Verschlusses geben zusätzliche Sicherheit. Durch das Zweischloss-System stehen zwei Schuss in schneller Folge zur Verfügung. Die klassische Kombination mit dem bewährten Schrotkaliber 12 ist aus gutem Grund die meistgeführte 'Kombinierte'. Der stahlschrotbeschossene Schrotlauf ist in Verbindung mit dem freischwingenden Kugellauf und dem hoch belastbaren, herausnehmbaren Jäger-Kippblockverschluss die Lösung für das Revier ohne Kompromisse. Das 55cm lange, verstellbare Laufbündel besteht aus einem Schrotlauf Kaliber 12/76 und einem freischwingenden, horizontal und vertikal justierbaren, Kugellauf für hohe Präzision und gutes Warmschuss-Verhalten. Es ist serienmäßig für die Suhler Aufkipp-Montage vorbereitet. Für den präzisen Kugelschuss besitzt der vordere Abzug einen Rückstecher. Der Schaft mit Pistolengriff, bayerischer Backe und Schweinsrücken wird durch eine Gummischaftkappe abgeschlossen. Der Systemkasten zeichnet seine Exklusivität mit der handgestochenen Jagdgravur aus.
