Nocpix has launched its compact and powerful thermal imaging monocular Lumi L35 equipped with a laser rangefinder, now available as the Lumi L35R.

The combination of thermal imaging device and laser rangefinder is becoming increasingly popular among hunters, as knowing the exact distance significantly contributes to an optimal shot. Therefore, Nocpix has upgraded its thermal imaging device Lumi L35 and released it as Lumi L35R (R for Rangefinder). This powerful thermal instrument features Nocpix's vertically mounted 12 µm sensor with a detection range of 1,800 m and now includes a laser rangefinder with a range of 800 m. Its operation seamlessly integrates into the ergonomic and intuitively operable design. With its compact dimensions and lightweight, the Lumi L35R can be taken in any bag for night hunting and can also be used during the day in dense foliage or in overcast and foggy weather.

The Sensor
The Lumi L35R thermal imaging device is equipped with a sensor developed by Nocpix itself, with a resolution of 384×288 px and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. A NETD value of ≤18 mK ensures good thermal differentiation. The frame rate is 50 Hz, providing clear, detailed, and high-contrast images. The detection range of the monocular is 1,800 m. With its 35 mm lens, it has a field of view of 13×10 m at 100 m.

The Display
The large 1,024×768 px AMOLED display features a helpful picture-in-picture (PiP) function. This shows you a 2x zoomed image of the observation object in a frame in the upper display area when needed. An ultra-clear mode combined with the Reality+ AI image algorithm allows for quick detection and identification of animals in any weather and under nearly all environmental conditions. Depending on individual needs and the observation situation, you can choose from 7 color palettes to adjust the image: white-hot, black-hot, red-hot, color, highlight, monochrome red, and monochrome green. Brightness, contrast, and sharpness can be manually adjusted in levels 1-10. An electronic image stabilization ensures steady observation, even if your hands tremble in cold weather or after exertion.

The Device
The Lumi L35R impresses with its excellent haptics. It fits well in the hand, which does not cramp even during prolonged use. Its symmetrical design with the arrangement of buttons on the top makes it perfectly operable with both hands. The buttons operate silently, so as not to scare off shy game. Difficult environmental conditions are not a problem for observation; the device is dust and waterproof according to IP67. The F0.9 lens of the Lumi L35R increases light intake by 20% compared to standard F1.0 lenses.

The Laser Rangefinder
The integrated laser rangefinder in the Lumi L35R, classified as safety class 1, can be used in single measurement and scan modes. The maximum measurement range is 800 m. This way, you always know exactly how far your target is and can make the right decision for the shot.

Battery Life
The replaceable Li-ion 18650 battery allows for continuous operation of the Lumi L35R thermal imaging device for up to 4.5 hours, depending on the activated features. The battery is easy to replace in no time. Charging is done with the included charger. You can also power the device continuously via a USB Type-C cable from an external power source, for example, during stationary use. If the external power supply is interrupted, the Lumi L35R automatically switches to battery operation without interruption.

Camera and Connectivity
With the integrated camera, you can document your observations and the tracking process of wildlife as photos and videos with sound. The internal memory has a capacity of 32 GB. Using the Nocpix app – available for iOS and Android – you can connect the thermal imaging device to your smartphone via the integrated WiFi module. This way, you will also receive the latest software updates. Images and videos are transmitted in real-time to the monitors of mobile devices. Nocpix hat sein handliches und leistungsstarkes Wärmebild-Monokular Lumi L35 mit einem Laser-Entfernungsmesser versehen und als Lumi L35R auf den Markt gebracht.

Die Kombination Wärmebildgerät und Laser-Entfernungsmesser erfreut sich bei Jägerinnen und Jägern einer immer größeren Beliebtheit, denn das Wissen um die genaue Entfernung trägt wesentlich zum optimalen Schuss bei. Deshalb hat Nocpix nun auch sein Wärmebildgerät Lumi L35 aufgerüstet und als Lumi L35R (R für Rangefinder) auf den Markt gebracht. Das leistungsstarke thermische Instrument mit dem vertikal eingebauten 12-µm-Sensor von Nocpix und einem Detektionsbereich von 1.800 m hat nun noch einen Laserentfernungsmesser mit einer Reichweite von 800 m. Dessen Bedienung passt sich optimal in das ergonomische und intuitiv bedienbare Design ein. Mit seinen kompakten Maßen und seinem geringen Gewicht kann das Lumi L35R in jeder Tasche zu jeder Jagd in der Nacht mitgenommen werden und auch am Tag bei dichtem Laub oder bei trübem und nebligem Wetter zum Einsatz kommen.

Helligkeit, Kontrast und Schärfe können manuell in den Stufen 1-10 eingestellt werden. Das Gerät

Die Betriebsdauer
Der austauschbare Li-Ionen-18650-Akku ermöglicht einen Dauerbetrieb des Lumi L35R-Wärmebildgeräts von bis zu 4,5 Stunden, abhängig von den aktvierten Features. Der Akku ist einfach und im Handumdrehen auswechselbar. Die Aufladung erfolgt in dem mitgelieferten Ladegerät. Sie können das Instrument auch dauerhaft per USB Typ-C-Kabel über eine externe Stromquelle versorgen, zum Beispiel bei einem stationären Einsatz. Wenn die externe Stromversorgung unterbrochen wird, schaltet das Lumi L35R automatisch und ohne Unterbrechung auf den Akku-Betrieb um.
