The Conquest HDX series is the new generation of the Conquest family from Zeiss, established in the market in 2012. The optical system
This model owes its light transmission of 90% not least to its 42-mm objective. The Conquest HDX 8x42 thus delivers bright and true-to-nature images without color fringing and color casts – even in poor lighting conditions. This is also due to the Zeiss T* multi-coating of the lenses and the roof prism. Aspherical lenses and ED glass (Extra-Low-Dispersion) significantly reduce chromatic aberration. Material and processing
The housing of the Conquest HDX 8x42 is made of magnesium and is 10% lighter than the corresponding model of the HD series. Its full rubber coating provides additional protection; it is waterproof, shockproof, and temperature-resistant. The water-repellent LouTec coating on the lenses ensures that moisture beads off like on a lotus leaf and dirt does not stick. To prevent internal fogging, the binoculars are filled with nitrogen. This makes it a reliable instrument in every hunting situation to approach the game.

Das optische System
Seine Lichttransmission von 90 % verdankt dieses Modell nicht zuletzt seinem 42-mm-Objektiv.
