The lead-free Hornady Outfitter CX cartridges, here in caliber .30-06 Spring. with 11.7 g and 180 grs., were developed for the toughest demands.

Maximum corrosion protection, performance, and a convincing result are the best ways to describe the Outfitter CX series. The rifle cartridges feature a sealed interior and a nickel-plated case, providing ideal protection against moisture. The monolithic CX™*-bullet is completely fragment-free and offers an extended effective range, better precision, a residual weight of more than 95%, and thus also an impressive momentary and deep impact effect due to its optimized design. The shape of the bullet has been adapted to European chamber and barrel dimensions. Innovative relief grooves of the CX bullet improve aerodynamic performance while simultaneously reducing leaf deposits. The flat and heat-resistant polymer tip (Heat Shield®) ensures quick expansion even at low impact velocities. It provides resistance to aerodynamic heating and maintains a consistently high ballistic coefficient throughout the entire trajectory. This bullet is suitable for virtually all hunting and game types.

Maximaler Korrosionsschutz, Leistung und ein überzeugendes Ergebnis, so lässt sich die Outfitter CX-Serie wohl am besten beschreiben. Die Büchsenpatronen besitzen einen versiegelten Innenraum sowie eine vernickelte Hülse und bieten somit idealen Schutz vor Feuchtigkeit. Das monolithische CX™*-Geschoss ist absolut splitterfrei und bietet durch sein optimiertes Design eine erweiterte Einsatzdistanz, bessere Präzision, ein Restgewicht von mehr als 95 % und somit auch eine beeindruckende Augenblicks- und Tiefenwirkung. Die Form des Geschosses wurde an europäische Patronenlager und Laufabmessungen angepasst. Neuartige Entlastungsrillen des CX-Geschosses verbessern die aerodynamische Leistung und reduzieren gleichzeitig Laubablagerungen. Die flache und hitzebeständige Polymerspitze (Heat Shield®) sichert ein schnelles Ansprechen auch bei niedrigen Auftreffgeschwindigkeiten. Sie sorgt für einen Widerstand zur aerodynamischen Erwärmung und leistet einen konstant hohen ballistischen Koeffizienten über die gesamte Flugbahn.!).
