The ECX bullet (Extreme Copper Alloy eXpanding) is suitable for all game species depending on the caliber and reliably delivers the performance you expect from a Hornady bullet.
The bullet made from a copper alloy (tombak) is designed for very good penetration with high retained weight and exit probability, even with bone hits. The flat plastic tip ensures reliable expansion of the bullet, even at lower velocities. The innovative relief grooves of the ECX bullet improve aerodynamic performance while simultaneously reducing barrel fouling.

Das Geschoss aus einer Kupferlegierung (Tombak) ist für eine sehr gute Tiefenwirkung mit hohem Restgewicht und Ausschusswahrscheinlichkeit, selbst bei Knochentreffern, konstruiert. Die flache Kunststoffspitze sorgt für ein sicheres Ansprechen des Geschosses, auch bei niedrigeren Geschwindigkeiten. Die neuartigen Entlastungsrillen des ECX-Geschosses verbessern die aerodynamische Leistung und reduzieren gleichzeitig die Laufablagerungen.
