Specifically developed for European hunters, Hornady has created the new ECX bullet. The advanced monolithic lead-free and fragment-free bullet ensures high, reliable precision from a variety of old and new firearms.

The ECX bullet (Extreme Copper Alloy eXpanding) is suitable for all game species depending on the caliber and reliably delivers the performance you expect from a Hornady bullet. The bullet made from a copper alloy (Tombak) is designed for very good penetration with high retained weight and exit wound probability, even with bone hits. The flat plastic tip ensures reliable expansion of the bullet, even at lower velocities. The novel relief grooves of the ECX bullet improve aerodynamic performance while simultaneously reducing barrel fouling.

Speziell für europäische Jäger entwickelte Hornady das neue ECX-Geschoss. Das fortschritliche monolithische blei- und splitterfreie Geschoss sorgt für hohe, zuverlässige Präzision aus einer Vielzahl alter und neuer Waffen.

Das ECX-Geschoss (Extreme Copper Alloy eXpanding) ist je nach Kaliber für alle Wildarten geeignet und bringt zuverlässig die Leistung, die Sie von einem Hornady- Geschoss erwarten.
Das Geschoss aus einer Kupferlegierung (Tombak) ist für eine sehr gute Tiefenwirkung mit hohem Restgewicht und Ausschusswahrscheinlichkeit, selbst bei Knochentreffern, konstruiert. Die flache Kunststoffspitze sorgt für ein sicheres Ansprechen des Geschosses, auch bei niedrigeren Geschwindigkeiten. Die neuartigen Entlastungsrillen des ECX-Geschosses verbessern die aerodynamische Leistung und reduzieren gleichzeitig die Laufablagerungen.
