The Mauser DWM 1904 in caliber 8x57 JS is a rifle manufactured by the German company Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken in Berlin (DWM). It is based on the Mauser 98 system, which is considered one of the best bolt-action rifle systems of its time. The model 1904 was an export version of the Mauser 98, which DWM produced for Portugal among others. The Portuguese variant became known as the Espingarda Portugueza M1904 and was the standard rifle of the Portuguese armed forces. Other recipient countries may have also existed, particularly in South America or Asia. This weapon is matching numbers and includes a cleaning rod as well as an original sling. The proofing was done in May 1979 in Munich.

Es basiert auf dem Mauser 98-System, das als eines des besten Repetiergewehrsysteme seiner Zeit gilt. Das Modell 1904 war eine Exportversion des Mauser 98, das DWM unter anderem für Portugal produzierte. Die portugiesische Variante wurde als Espingarda Portugueza M1904 bekannt und war das Standardgewehr der portugiesischen Streitkräfte. Andere Abnehmerländer könnten ebenfalls existiert haben, insbesondere in Südamerika oder Asien. Diese Waffe ist nummerngleich und enthält einen Putzstock sowie einen originalen Riemen. Den Beschuß erhielt die Waffe im Mai 1979 in München.
