Long have Glock fans wished for a replica of the world-famous Austrian pistol series. For a long time, this wish was not pursued. But the wait is over: one of the most iconic pistol series in the world is now entering the airsoft world, and finally, the officially licensed airsoft Glocks are available with us! The latest creation from Glock is now also available as an airsoft replica. This is the Glock 45, a pistol that has grown in the shadow of the well-known Glock 19X and represents a crossover between the Glock 19 and Glock 17. The popular grip of the Glock 17 and the compact slide of the Glock 19 have been combined to ensure enormous maneuverability with high magazine capacity. The Vega Force Company has meticulously replicated this bestseller in 9 mm Luger caliber. Here, VFC addresses both players and collectors alike – because the Glock 45 GBB not only looks like its live counterpart, but it is also just as much a workhorse. The grip of the Glock 45 is made from a composite plastic that closely resembles the original. It is textured at all relevant points, ensuring a secure grip even with wet or sweaty hands. Since the grip is a Generation 5 grip, it also features an integrated magwell, which significantly facilitates reloading, especially under stress. Once you've had a magwell, you never want to go without it. The magazine release is easy to operate even for smaller hands, without being "floppy." Moreover, it can also be easily converted for left-handed shooters. The slide catch engages cleanly after the last shot and can also be released solidly from both sides. In front of the trigger guard, there is a rail, allowing all common pistol LLMs (dummies) and smaller scope cams to be attached. In the middle of the rail, there is a continuous serial number embedded – just like the original. Above this, the F in the pentagon is subtly placed. The grip and the slide are rounded at the front, making holstering with hard shell holsters much easier. The slide is made entirely of metal and features a very well-executed coating. Only the three-dot sight, which we already know from the Glock 19 and Glock 19X, as well as the backplate of the slide, are made of high-quality plastic. The front and rear areas of the slide have notches that make reloading or "power stroking" under difficult conditions much easier. The weapon can be disassembled just like the original. Initially, releasing the safety latch can be a bit stiff, but this eases over time. All parts, including the internals, fit very precisely and without play. Essential parts of the trigger group are made of steel, but all are made of metal. Unlike other Glock models from VFC, the hop-up can be adjusted without disassembling the pistol. To do this, simply insert the included hop-up (a standard Allen) key into the spring guide rod and turn it clockwise. However, we recommend disassembling and cleaning the pistol after 1-2 game days. Some models are very heavily lubricated from the factory. It may be advisable to free the weapon from some of the lubricant. The barrel and inner barrel, along with the hop-up chamber, fit together neatly. Unfortunately, we had to find that the coating of the outer barrel wears off quickly on most VFC models. To counteract this wear, we recommend applying a few drops of lubricant to the chamber. The trigger of the Glock 45 features, just like the original, a trigger safety and breaks cleanly. The reset is also virtually unbeatable for a pistol "out of the box." A quick and controlled rate of fire is absolutely no problem with this airsoft replica. The blowback of the Glock 45 GBB is also impressive, or rather, can be felt. All in all, the system is extremely crisp and efficient. The included gas magazine holds 22 rounds. Unfortunately, the weapon is only partially compatible with magazines from other manufacturers. WE or KJW magazines work in the weapon, but they fit very tightly. The best results were achieved with the original Glock/VFC magazines, green gas, and 0.28g BBs. We strongly advise against operating the weapon with CO2 magazines, as it is not designed for that. However, the weapon can be fired with red gas in colder temperatures. Overall, VFC, in cooperation with Glock, delivers a reliable and well-thought-out pistol that is suitable for both players and collectors and is a must-have for all Glock enthusiasts. Lange haben sich Glock-Fans einen Nachbau der weltbekannten, österreichischen Pistolenreihe gewünscht. Lange wurde diesem Wunsch nicht nachgegangen. Doch das Warten hat ein Ende: eine der wohl ikonischsten Pistolenreihe der Welt erfährt nun den Einzug in die Airsoftwelt und endlich gibt es die offiziell lizensierten Airsoft Glocks auch bei uns! Die neuste Kreation aus dem Hause Glock gibt es nun auch als Airsoft Nachbau. Hierbei handelt es sich um die Glock 45, eine Pistole, die im Schatten der bekannten Glock 19X gewachsen ist und ein Crossover zwischen der Glock 19 und Glock 17 darstellt. Das beliebte Griffstück der Glock 17 und der kompakte Schlitten der Glock 19 wurden hierbei kombiniert, um eine enorme Manövrierfähigkeit bei hoher Magazinkapazität zu garantieren. Die Vega Force Company hat diesen Bestseller im Kaliber 9 mm Luger enorm detailgetreu nachgebildet. Hierbei adressiert VFC den Spieler und Sammler gleichermaßen – denn die Glock 45 GBB sieht nicht nur aus wie ihr scharfes Vorbild, sie ist auch genauso ein Arbeitstier. Das Griffstück der Glock 45 ist aus einem Verbundkunstoff gefertigt, welcher dem Original zum Verwechseln nahekommt. An allen relevanten Stellen ist es aufgeraut, sodass ein sicherer Griff auch bei nassen oder verschwitzen Händen gewährleistet werden kann. Da es sich beim Griffstück um ein Generation 5 Griffstück handelt, verfügt es auch über einen integrierten Magwell, welcher das Nachladen, vor allem unter Stress, deutlich erleichtert. Wer einmal einen Magwell hatte, der möchte nie wieder darauf verzichten. Der Magazinauswurf ist auch für kleinere Hände leicht zu bedienen, ohne dabei „labberig“ zu sein. Überdies kann dieser auch für Linksschützen einfach umgebaut werden. Der Schlittenfang rastet sauber nach dem letzten Schuss ein und lässt sich, ebenfalls beidseitig, satt lösen. Vor dem Abzugsbügel befindet sich eine Rail-Schiene, sodass alle gängigen Pistolen LLMs (Dummies) und kleinere Scopecams angebracht werden können. In der Mitte der Schiene ist eine fortlaufende Seriennummer eingelassen – genau wie beim Original. Über dieser befindet sich dezent das F im Fünfeck. Das Griffstück sowie der Schlitten sind im vorderen Bereich abgerundet, sodass das Holstern bei der Verwendung von Hartschalenholstern um einiges erleichtert wird. Der Schlitten ist komplett aus Metall gefertigt und verfügt über eine sehr gut gelungene Beschichtung. Einzig die Dreipunkt-Visierung, welche wir schon von der Glock 19 und Glock 19X kennen, sowie die Backplate des Schlittens sind aus hochwertigem Kunststoff gefertigt. Im vorderen und hinteren Bereich verfügt der Schlitten über Einkerbungen, welche ein Nachladen oder „Powerstroken“ unter erschwerten Bedingungen um einiges erleichtern. Die Waffe lässt sich wie das Original zerlegen. Anfangs kann das Lösen der Sicherungsklemme etwas schwergängig sein, dieses spielt sich mit der Zeit aber ein. Alle Teile, die Internals eingeschlossen, sitzen sehr passgenau und spielfrei. Wesentliche Teile der Abzugsgruppe sind aus Stahl gefertigt, alle aber aus Metall. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Glock-Modellen von VFC lässt sich das Hop-Up einstellen, ohne hierfür die Pistole zu zerlegen. Dazu wird einfach der mitgelieferte Hop-Up (ein normaler Inbus) Schlüssel in die Federführungsstange eingesetzt und im Uhrzeigersinn gedreht. Dennoch empfehlen wir, die Pistole nach 1-2 Spieltagen zu zerlegen und zur reinigen. Einige Modelle sind von Werk aus sehr stark geschmiert. Hierbei kann es sich anbieten, die Waffe von Teilen des Schmiermittels zu befreien. Lauf und Innenlauf samt HU-Kammer sitzen sauber ineinander. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass sich die Beschichtung des Außenlaufs bei den meisten VFC-Modellen schnell abnutzt. Um dieser Abnutzung etwas entgegen zu wirken, empfehlen wir, einige Tropfen Schmiermittel auf das Patronenlager zu geben. Der Abzug der Glock 45 verfügt, genau wie das Original, über eine Zungensicherung und bricht glasklar. Auch der Reset ist für eine Pistole „out of the box“ quasi unschlagbar. Eine schnelle und kontrollierte Schussfolge ist mit diesem Airsoft Nachbau absolut kein Problem. Auch das Blow-Back der Glock 45 GBB lässt sich sehen, oder vielmehr spüren. Alles in allem ist das System enorm knackig und effizient. Das mitgelieferte Gasmagazin fasst 22 Schuss. Die Waffe ist leider nur teilweise mit Magazinen anderer Hersteller kompatibel. WE oder KJW Magazine funktionieren zwar in der Waffe, allerdings sitzen sie sehr straff. Die besten Ergebnisse erzielten wir mit den original Glock/VFC-Magazinen, Green-Gas und 0,28g BBs. Wir raten dringend davon ab, die Waffe mit CO2-Magazinen zu betreiben, hierfür ist sie nicht ausgelegt. Dennoch kann die Waffe bei kälteren Temperaturen mit Red-Gas geschossen werden. Alles in allem liefert VFC in Kooperation mit Glock hier eine zuverlässige und gut durchdachte Pistole, welche gleichermaßen für den Spieler als auch für den Sammler geeignet und für alle Glock-Enthusiasten ein Must-Have ist.
