Just like its real counterpart, the CZ Scorpion EVO 3 ATEK stops the firing process as soon as the magazine is empty and requires reloading activities to continue shooting after inserting a fresh magazine. While it is still common in the field of airsoft weapons, with few exceptions, to focus primarily on the purely external characteristics of an airsoft gun, a different direction is consistently taken here. As with the GSS from G&G, great emphasis has been placed on realistic weapon handling to bring the player as close to the real weapon as possible within the realm of an AEG. The CZ Scorpion EVO 3 ATEK is also a true masterpiece in terms of quality. The same fiber-reinforced plastic used in the original is employed in the production of the weapon housing. ASG präsentiert die CZ Scorpion EVO 3 ATEK den Airsoftnachbau der markanten tschechischen Maschinenpistole, welcher von Actionsportgames in Europa entwickelt wurde und hergestellt wird. Genau wie ihr echtes Vorbild, stoppt die CZ Scorpion EVO 3 ATEK den Schießvorgang sobald das Magazin leer ist und erfordert das Durchführen der Ladetätigkeiten um nach dem einsetzen eines frischen Magazines weiter schießen zu können. Während es derzeit im Bereich der Airsoftwaffen bis auf wenige Ausnahmen noch üblich ist, das Hauptaugenmerk auf die rein äußerlichen Eigenschaften einer Airsoft zu legen, wird hier konsequent eine andere Richtung eingeschlagen. Wie zum Beispiel bei der GSS von G&G ist hier großen Wert auf ein realistisches Waffenhandling gelegt worden, um den Spieler so nahe an die reale Waffe zu bringen wie es im Bereich einer AEG möglich ist. Auch Qualitativ ist die CZ Scorpion EVO 3 ATEK ein echtes Meisterwerk. So wird bei der Herstellung des Waffengehäuses genau der gleiche faserverstärkte Kunststoff verwendet wie beim Original.
