Prussian Cavalry Saber M1811 or called Blücher Saber. The saber from the time of the Napoleonic Wars, the combat weapon of the Prussian light cavalry. Blade forged from carbon steel and polished. The grip is covered with leather including a polished metal scabbard.

The Saber M1811 is colloquially also called Blücher Saber. Field Marshal Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher was probably the most popular commander of the German Wars of Liberation against Napoleon.

Preußischer Kavalleriesäbel M1811 oder Blüchersäbel genannt. Der Säbel aus der Zeit der napoleonischen Kriege, die Kampfwaffe der preußischen leichten Kavallerie. Klinge geschmiedet aus Kohlenstoffstahl und poliert. Der Griff ist mit Leder überzogen inklusive polierter Metallscheide.

Der Säbel M1811 wird umgangssprachlich auch Blüchersäbel genannt. Generalfeldmarschall Gebhard Leberecht von Blücher, war der wohl populärste Feldherr der deutschen Befreiungskriege gegen Napoleon.
