The submachine gun MP40 was produced by Erma and Steyr from 1940 to 1944. The very maneuverable and compact MP40 was manufactured over 1 million times during this period. The no less well-known predecessors are the MP36 and the MP38.

Die Maschinenpistole 40, wurde von 1940 bis 1944 von Erma und Steyr produziert. Die sehr führige und kompakte MP40 wurde in dieser Zeit über 1 Mio. mal hergestellt. Die nicht minder bekannten Vorgänger sind die MP36 und die MP38.
Das Selbstladegewehr im Kaliber .22 besteht aus Stahl und Zinkdruckguss und verfügt über einen Single-Action Abzug und eine klappbare Schulterstütze.
