Introduced by Winchester and approved by SAAMI in January 2019, the .350 Legend is a brand new cartridge with no parent case. This tapered case has a rimless design that allows the use of the standard .223 primer, which is found in many popular rifles, including the AR-15. Like many other AR cartridges, the .350 Legend only requires the replacement of the barrel and magazine. The appeal of this cartridge is that it can be used for hunting in several states that only allow rimfire cartridges, yet it does not come close to the recoil of other AR cartridges in this niche. With .355-inch diameter projectiles, the .350 Legend is capable of delivering impressive ballistic performance without generating much recoil. Von Winchester eingeführt und im Januar 2019 von SAAMI genehmigt, ist die .350 Legend eine brandneue Patrone ohne Vorläuferhülse. Dieses konische Gehäuse hat einen eingezogenen Rand, der es ermöglicht, das Standard-.223-Zündhütchen zu verwenden, das bei vielen gängigen Gewehren, einschließlich dem AR-15, zu finden ist.
