Compatible with the standard NATO flash suppressor, the Rotex-X is designed for calibers .223 / 5.56 mm. It is the optimal solution when a suppressor that can be mounted/dismounted in a few seconds is needed, and it should be as short as possible. Furthermore, the Rotex-V effectively suppresses muzzle flash.
For official use, suppressors must withstand enormous stresses. Experiences from this area also flow into the development of hunting suppressors. This results in not only very good suppression values but also compact dimensions and low weight. Special attention has been paid to a cost-effective, integrated thread adapter, allowing the suppressors to be used on multiple firearms with different muzzle threads.

Notes on suppressors: Existing hunting law prohibitions or restrictions on the use of suppressors in the respective federal states must be observed. From a ballistic perspective, the use of suppressors with standard hunting ammunition has no effect – the projectile's performance remains the same. The perception of the surroundings is also not affected. Suppressors reduce recoil as well as noise at the source. This protects the environment (e.g., hunting dogs) from noise damage. They nearly eliminate muzzle flash, making it easier to observe the drawing and escape direction of game in poor light conditions. The suppressor should always be removed before pulling through the weapon to avoid damage to the baffles. For cleaning and preserving suppressors, penetrating oils are recommended. High-temperature resistant greases are effective for maintaining the threads.

Kompatibel mit dem Standard-NATO-Feuerscheindämpfer ist der Rotex-X für Kaliber .223 / 5,56 mm. Die optimale Lösung, wenn ein in wenigen Sekunden aufsetzbarer / abnehmbarer Dämpfer mit sehr guter Dämpfleistung benötigt wird, der möglichst kurz gebaut sein soll. Darüber hinaus unterdrückt der Rotex-V die Mündungsfeuer sehr effektiv.
Für die behördliche Verwendung müssen die Schalldämpfer enormen Belastungen standhalten. Die Erfahrungen aus diesem Bereich fließen auch in die Entwicklung von Jagdschalldämpfern. Dabei werden nicht nur sehr gute Dämpfungswerte, sondern auch kompakte Baumaße und ein geringes Gewicht erreicht. Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf einen preiswerten, integrierten Gewindeadapter gelegt, wodurch die Schalldämpfer auf mehreren Waffen mit verschiedenen Mündungsgewinden genutzt werden kann.

Hinweise zu Schalldämpfern: Bestehende jagdrechtliche Verbote oder Beschränkungen der Nutzung von Schalldämpfern der jeweiligen Bundesländer sind zu beachten. Zielballistisch hat die Nutzung von Schalldämpfern bei Benutzung von normal üblicher Jagdmunition keinen Einfluss – die Wirkung des Geschosses bleibt gleich. Auch die Wahrnehmung der Umgebung wird nicht beeinflusst. Schalldämpfer verringern Rückstoß wie auch Lärm an der Quelle. Dadurch wird das Umfeld (z.B. Jagdhunde) vor Lärmschäden geschützt. Sie mindern das Mündungsfeuer fast vollständig, so dass bei schlechtem Licht das Zeichnen und die Fluchtrichtung des Wildes besser wahrzunehmen sind. Vor dem Durchziehen der Waffe sollte der Schalldämpfer immer entfernt werden um Beschädigungen an den Blenden zu vermeiden. Für die Reinigung und Konservierung von Schalldämpfern empfehlen sich Kriechöle. Zur Pflege der Gewinde bewähren sich hochtemperaturfeste Fette.
