Brilliant optics in a solid housing
The coated ED lenses (ED = Extra-Low-Dispersion) deliver true-to-life and high-contrast images with excellent edge sharpness. The chromatic aberration of the optical system is significantly reduced. With the large field of view of the 8x42, you will never lose sight of your surroundings. The magnesium housing with a textured rubber coating is robust and withstands all weather conditions. It is filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging and is waterproof according to IPX7 protection class. In terms of size, the device feels good in the hand. Your fingers rest comfortably on the bridge that connects the two optical tubes. With the X-range 8x42, you can individually assign the buttons for operating the rangefinder – “Menu” and “Measure” – with their respective functions. This makes the binoculars suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The binoculars are also easy to operate with one hand. The focus wheel is well-sized and textured. The laser rangefinder
