RWS 6.5x57 9.1g DK 20 cartridges
The 6.5x57 has been developed as a pure hunting cartridge and is particularly suitable for areas with a lot of roe deer and sporadically occurring larger game such as mouflon or fallow deer.
The bullet range extends from the light 6.0 g RWST partial jacket pointed bullet to the heavy 9.1 g RWS double-core bullet. Thus, the 6.5x57 covers long distances just as well as short forest hunting distances.
The RWS double-core bullet (DK bullet) consists of two lead cores of different hardness. The front core reliably disintegrates and ensures high terminal effect. To control this deformation process, a unique tombak capsule separates the rear bullet core from the softer front core. The core weight ratio is 50:50, guaranteeing a perfect mix of terminal effect and exit probability. The special construction of the DK bullet creates a straight wound channel for safe exit. This guarantees sufficient blood and short escape distances.

Die 6,5x57 ist als reine Jagdpatrone entwickelt worden undeignet sich vor allem für Reviere mit viel Rehwild und sporadisch auftretendem stärkerem Wild wie Muffel oder Damwild.
Die Geschosspalette reicht vom leichten 6,0 g RWSTeilmantel-Spitzkopf-Geschoss bis zum schweren 9,1 g RWS Doppelkern-Geschoss.Damit deckt die 6,5x57 weite Entfernungen genauso ab wie kurze Waldjagdentfernungen.
Das RWS Doppelkern-Geschoss (DK-Geschoss) besteht aus zwei Bleikernen unterschiedlicher Härte. Der vordere Kern zerlegt sich zuverlässig und sorgt für hohe Augenblickswirkung. Zur Steuerung dieses Deformationsprozesses trennt eine einzigartige Tombak-Kapsel den hinteren Geschosskern vom weicheren Bugkern. Das Kerngewichtsverhältnis beträgt 50:50 und garantiert so eine perfekte Mischung aus Augenblickswirkung und Ausschusswahrscheinlichkeit. Durch die besondere Konstruktion des DK-Geschosses entsteht ein gerader Schusskanal für den sicheren Ausschuss. Das garantiert ausreichend Schweiß und kurze Fluchtdistanzen.
