The Elcan Specter DR 1.5/6x is a quickly switchable scope from 1.5x to 6x magnification. The mount is designed for Picatinny rails according to MIL-STD-1913. The sight consists of a one-piece manufactured housing. Based on the field-proven Elcan Specter DR designs, the Elcan Specter DR 1.5-6x offers a stronger magnification, allowing for greater precision and longer ranges, while simultaneously providing an exceptionally large field of view in CQB mode. The Elcan Specter DR 1.5-6x features ELCAN's renowned crystal-clear optics as well as generous eye relief, making it an ideal weapon sight for corresponding rifles and other applications at varying distances. As with all Elcan Specter DR scopes, the magnification and field of view can be quickly changed by simply flipping a lever. Depending on the situation, the user can adjust the illumination device to either illuminate the entire reticle or a dot in the center. The brightness of the dot is adjustable in 5 levels. At the lowest setting, the Elcan Specter is compatible with night vision devices. Because the reticles are etched into the glass, they are very easily visible, even in the event of a power loss due to a battery failure.

Das Elcan Specter DR 1,5/6x ist ein schnell von 1,5x auf 6x Vergrößerung umschaltbares Zielfernrohr. Die Montage ist für Picatinnyschienen nach MIL-STD-1913 ausgelegt. Das Visier besteht aus einem einteiligen gefertigtem Gehäuse. Basierend auf dem im Einsatz erprobten Elcan Specter DR Designs, bietet das Elcan Specter DR 1.5-6x eine stärkere Vergrößerung und ermöglicht dadurch eine höhere Präzision sowie größere Reichweiten, während es gleichzeitig im CQB Modus ein außergewöhnlich großes Sichtfeld bietet. Das Elcan Specter DR 1.5-6x bietet ELCAN''s berühmte kristallklare Optik sowie einem großzügigen Augenabstand und ist damit ein ideales Waffenvisier für entsprechende Schützengewehre und andere Anwendungen auf wechselnde Distanzen. Wie bei allen Elcan Specter DR Zielfernrohre kann die Vergrößerung und das Sichtfeld durch ein einfaches Umlegen eines Hebels rasch gewechselt werden. Je nach Situation kann der Anwender die Beleuchtungseinrichtung adjustieren, um entweder das komplette Fadenkreuz anzuleuchten oder einen Leuchtpunkt in der Mitte. Die Helligkeit des Leuchtpunkts ist auf 5 Stufen einstellbar. In der kleinsten Stufe ist das Elcan Specter mit Nachtsichtgeräten kompatibel. Weil die Fadenkreuze in das Glas geätzt sind, sind sie sehr leicht sichtbar, auch im Fall des Stromverlustes durch einen Batteriefehler.
