The new Krypton 2 FXQ35 now comes as the little brother to the Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50. The completely newly developed housing is immediately noticeable, and similar to the Proton, there is a slight offset upwards. This creates a bit more space between the device and the scope, allowing it to be mounted even on very flat mounts. The battery is now located on the top, which leads to better balance. The controls on the left side are ideal for right-handed hunters, but this is somewhat disadvantageous for left-handed users. In this case, the remote control would be very suitable, thus shortening the long reach to the front for the attachment device.
When hunting, every additional gram of equipment counts. Krypton 2 is simple and convenient to use. With its short length, low weight, and even weight distribution, the attachment has minimal impact on the balance of the "weapon optics" complex when mounted on the objective lens of an optical riflescope, with the controls of the attachment easily accessible.
The robust, lightweight housing made of a magnesium alloy has high structural strength and protects the Krypton 2 from recoil and vibration stresses. It is resistant to external mechanical, temperature-related, and climatic influences. The magnesium alloy housing dissipates heat from the electronic components of the thermal imaging camera, thereby increasing the operational stability of the device.
The quickly replaceable and quickly rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack IPS7 provides enough energy for up to 11 hours of continuous operation. With one battery pack, the device can run all night without needing to be replaced. Quick release and wireless design, long operating time are the great features of this high-performance instrument.
Just a few seconds and the new compact Pulsar 3x20B monocular is enough to transform the Krypton 2 into a 3x thermal imaging device. With the connection closure, the Krypton 2 can be quickly and easily converted from a thermal imaging attachment to a thermal imaging monocular and back again in field conditions.
The wireless Bluetooth remote control Pulsar BT fully duplicates the buttons on the device. The remote control features excellent ergonomics - the buttons activate the most frequently used functions, while the device parameters for fine-tuning and menu navigation are selected by turning or pressing the encoder. The design, size, and positioning of the buttons and the rotary encoder are designed to be operated with both bare hands and gloves. When the remote control is mounted in a convenient location on the fore-end or on the rifle stock, a hunter only needs a few movements to adjust the device and can fully concentrate on the hunt.
A new feature for Pulsar thermal imaging attachments is the adaptation of the graphical user interface. The positions of the menu and the instrument's status bar are scaled by the user to a convenient view by changing the magnification of the day scope to see the current information about the status of the attachment and to work with the menu at a wide range of magnifications.
The new FHD full-color AMOLED display features high contrast, a wide dynamic range, and energy savings. The fast response time ensures a clear and fluid image when observing during movements or in freeze frames.

Das neue Krypton 2 FXQ35 kommt nun als kleiner Bruder zum Pulsar Krypton 2 FXG50. Auffällig ist gleich das komplett neu entwickelte Gehäuse und ähnlich wie beim Proton der leichte Versatz nach Oben. Somit ist wieder zwischen dem Gerät und Lauf etwas mehr Platz und man kann es auch bei sehr flachen Montagen zum Großteil montieren. Der Akku sitzt nun an der Oberseite und dies führt zum besseren Gleichgewicht. Die Bedienung auf der linken Seite ist für den Jäger/ Jägerin als Rechtsschütze ideal, allerdings ist dies für den Linksschütze etwas nachteilig. Hier würde sich dann die Fernbedienung sehr gut eignen und man verkürzt somit auch den langen Weg bis nach vorn zum Vorsatzgerät.
Bei der Jagd zählt jedes zusätzliche Gramm an Ausrüstung. Krypton 2 ist einfach und bequem zu benutzen. Mit seiner kurzen Länge, dem geringen Gewicht und der gleichmäßigen Gewichtsverteilung hat der Aufsatz nur minimale Auswirkungen auf das Gleichgewicht des Komplexes "Waffenoptik", wenn er auf das Objektiv eines optischen Zielfernrohrs montiert wird, wobei die Bedienelemente des Aufsatzes leicht zu erreichen sind.
Das robuste, leichte Gehäuse aus einer Magnesiumlegierung weist eine hohe strukturelle Festigkeit auf und schützt das Krypton 2 vor Rückstoß- und Vibrationsbelastungen. Es ist resistent gegen äußere mechanische, temperaturbedingte und klimatische Einflüsse. Das Gehäuse aus einer Magnesiumlegierung leitet die Wärme von den elektronischen Komponenten der Wärmebildkamera ab und erhöht so die Betriebsstabilität des Geräts.
Das schnell-auswechselbare und schnell wiederaufladbare Li-Ion-Akku-Pack IPS7 liefert genug Energie für bis zu 11 Stunden Dauerbetrieb. Mit einem Akkupack kann das Gerät die ganze Nacht laufen, ohne dass es ausgetauscht werden muss. Schnelles Lösen und drahtlos Design, lange Betriebszeit sind die großen Besonderheiten dieses Hochleistungsinstruments.
Ein paar Sekunden und das neue kompakte Pulsar 3x20B-Monokular genügen, um das Krypton 2 in ein 3fach-Wärmebildgerät zu verwandeln. Mit dem Verbindungsverschluss lässt sich das Krypton 2 unter Einsatzbedingungen im Revier schnell und einfach von einem Wärmebildaufsatz in ein Wärmebildmonokular und zurück umwandeln.
Die drahtlose Bluetooth-Fernbedienung Pulsar BT dupliziert die Tasten am Instrument vollständig. Die Fernbedienung zeichnet sich durch eine hervorragende Ergonomie aus - die Tasten aktivieren die am häufigsten benutzten Funktionen, während die Geräteparameter der Feineinstellung und der Menünavigation durch Drehen oder Drücken des Encoders ausgewählt werden. Das Design, die Größe und die Positionierung der Tasten und des Drehgebers sind so gestaltet, dass sie sowohl mit bloßen Händen als auch mit Handschuhen bedient werden können. Wenn die Fernbedienung an einer bequemen Stelle am Vorderschaft oder am Gewehrkolben angebracht wird, braucht ein Jäger nur wenige Handgriffe, um den Vorsatz einzustellen, und kann sich voll und ganz auf die Jagd konzentrieren.
Eine neue Funktion für Pulsar-Wärmebildvorsätze ist die Anpassung der grafischen Benutzerschnittstelle. Die Positionen des Menüs und der Statusleiste des Instruments werden vom Benutzer auf eine bequeme Ansicht skaliert, indem die Vergrößerung des Tageszielfernrohrs geändert wird, um die aktuellen Informationen über den Status des Vorsatzes zu sehen und mit dem Menü in einem weiten Bereich von Vergrößerungen zu arbeiten.
Der neue FHD-Vollfarben-AMOLED-Bildschirm zeichnet sich durch hohen Kontrast, einen großen Dynamikbereich und Energieeinsparung aus. Die schnelle Reaktionszeit sorgt für ein klares und flüssiges Bild bei der Beobachtung während Bewegungen oder bei Frost.
