This grip fits the "D" revolvers listed below, which were manufactured after 1966. Colt revolvers with steel frames (serial no. D900101 and higher) Colt Detective Special Diamond Back DSII Lady Special Magnum Carry Police Positive Special SF-VI Colt revolvers with aluminum frames (serial no. 200101LW and higher) Agent Cobra Viper DOES NOT fit models before 1966 with longer grip frames and rounded lower corners. Check your frame by measuring the distance between the rear side plate screw and the grip stud pin. The older/longer frame is approximately 3 1/4 inches, while the newer/shorter frame is approximately 2 5/8 inches tall. (Show description in original language)
