Besonders aber waren Polizeieinheiten rund um die Welt dankbare Abnehmer, zumal die Pistole als Polizeiwaffe (PPK = Polizeipistole Kriminal) konzeptioniert war. Sie wurde bis 1999 in verschiedenen Ausführungen gefertigt und und die Begeisterung für diese Waffe ist bis heute ungebrochen.
