Pistol, Steyr M1912, Mod. 1911 from D-manufacturing in caliber 9mmSteyr, WKI, WKII for Chile. The Steyr pistol M1912 is a semi-automatic pistol produced by the company Steyr. Of the second series models, 5000 pieces with their own 1000-number blocks were sent as military weapons to Chile. The serial numbers were divided into 4 letters A, B, C, D. These models are from the beginning of the Chile series Mod. 1911 (Right on the slide, "ELERCITO DE CHILE"). A total of only 10,200 pieces were manufactured. An interesting detail of the construction is the fixed magazine box in the grip, which is filled via loading strips. Due to the operation similar to the Browning system, the weapon was very resistant to malfunctions in use.
The present weapon is in very good condition and does not have a valid proof mark. Due to the coat of arms on the left side of the slide, it can be inferred that the weapon was intended for export to Chile.

Pistole, Steyr M1912, Mod. 1911 aus der D-Fertigung im Klaiber 9mmSteyr, WKI, WKII für Chile. Die Steyr Pistole M1912 ist eine Selbstladepistole produziert von der Firma Steyr. Von den Zweitserie Modellen gingen 5000 Stück mit eigenen 1000er-Nummernbloöcken als Militärwaffen nach Chile. Die Seriennummern wurden in 4 Buchstaben eingeteilt A,B,C,D. Diese Modelle sind vom Beginn der Chileserie Mod. 1911 (Rechts am Schlitten ,,ELERCITO DE CHILE''). Gesamt wurden nur 10.200 Stück gefertigt. Ein interessantes Detail der Konstruktion ist der fest verbaute Magazinkasten im Griff, der über Ladestreifen befüllt wird. Durch die dem Browning-System ähnliche Arbeitsweise, war die Waffe im Gebrauch sehr störungsresistent.
Die vorliegende Waffe befindet sich in einem sehr guten Zustand, und verfügt über keinen gültigen Beschuss. Aufgrund des Wappens auf der linken Seite des Schlittens, lässt sich entnehmen, dass die Waffe für den Export nach Chile bestimmt war.
