Compatible with the standard NATO muzzle brake, the Rotex-V is the optimal solution when a suppressor that can be attached/detached in just a few seconds with very good suppression performance is needed. Furthermore, the Rotex-V effectively suppresses muzzle flash.
For official use, the suppressors must withstand enormous stresses. The experiences from this area also flow into the development of hunting suppressors. In this process, not only very good suppression values are achieved, but also compact dimensions and low weight. Special attention was paid to a cost-effective, integrated thread adapter, allowing the suppressors to be used on multiple firearms with different muzzle threads.
The suppressors from B&T are made of extremely temperature-resistant Thermax and Inconel. Inconel alloys are well resistant to corrosion, making them suitable for use in extreme environments. When heated, a stable oxide layer forms that protects the surface. The strength remains intact over a wide temperature range. This makes the alloys particularly interesting for high-temperature applications where aluminum and steel are unstable.

Kompatibel mit dem Standard-NATO-Mündungsfeuerdämpfer, ist der Rotex-V die optimale Lösung, wenn ein in wenigen Sekunden aufsetzbarer/abnehmbarer Dämpfer mit sehr guter Dämpfleistung benötigt wird. Darüber hinaus unterdrückt der Rotex-V das Mündungsfeuer sehr effektiv.
Für die behördliche Verwendung müssen die Schalldämpfer enormen Belastungen standhalten. Die Erfahrungen aus diesem Bereich fließen auch in die Entwicklung von Jagdschalldämpfern. Dabei werden nicht nur sehr gute Dämpfungswerte, sondern auch kompakte Baumaße und ein geringes Gewicht erreicht. Besonderes Augenmerk wurde auf einen preiswerten, integrierten Gewindeadapter gelegt, wodurch die Schalldämpfer auf mehreren Waffen mit verschiedenen Mündungsgewinden genutzt werden kann.
Die Schalldämpfer von B&T bestehen aus äußerst temperaturbeständigem Thermax und Inconel. Inconel-Legierungen sind gut gegen Korrosion beständig, so dass sie für die Anwendung in extremen Umgebungen geeignet sind. Beim Erhitzen bildet sich eine stabile Oxidschicht, die die Oberfläche schützt. Die Festigkeit bleibt über einen breiten Temperaturbereich erhalten. Dies macht die Legierungen insbesondere für Hochtemperaturanwendungen interessant, bei denen Aluminium und Stahl instabil sind.
