The Morakniv model KANSBOL, named after a locality near Mora, is a reliable outdoor knife that surprises with its low weight. The knife features a blade made of stainless Sandvik steel 12C27 and is equipped with the typical Scandinavian grind, which allows for easy sharpening. The blade thickness has been tapered in the front area to enable finer carving work. As with other models from Morakniv, the spine of the blade is intentionally kept angular to serve as a friction surface for a fire starter. The olive green handle made of slip-resistant TPE plastic provides a secure grip while working. In the Multi-Mount variant offered here, the knife comes with a plastic sheath and a MOLLE-compatible mounting system. Das Morakniv Modell KANSBOL, benannt nach einer Ortschaft in der Umgebung von Mora, ist ein zuverlässiges Outdoormesser, das mit einem geringen Gewicht überrascht. Das Messer bietet eine Klinge aus rostfreiem Sandvik Stahl 12C27 und ist mit dem typischen skandinavischen Schliff versehen, der ein einfaches Nachschleifen erlaubt. Im vorderen Bereich wurde die Klingenstärke verjüngt, um so auch feinere Schnitzarbeiten zu ermöglichen. Wie bei anderen Modellen von Morakniv ist auch hier der Klingenrücken bewusst kantig gehalten, um als Reibefläche für einen Feuerstarter dienen zu können. Der olivgrüne Griff aus rutschhemmendem TPE-Kunststoff gewährt einen sicheren Halt beim Arbeiten.
