The ProForce P229 as an airsoft variant is a 1:1 replica of the original. In the USA, the pistol serves as the official training pistol of the U.S. Coast Guards. Each weapon features original markings and an individual serial number. Disassembly is also carried out like the original.
The gas system air pistol offers you a full metal housing with a Nitron finish and a textured polymer grip. The pistol grip and slide are adorned with authentic engravings. The trigger, magazine release, slide catch lever, and hammer are also made of metal. Thanks to its high weight, the airsoft pistol can be handled steadily. The blowback effect is noticeable but not too strong.
For aiming, you use the fixed 3-point sight with white dots. To optimize your hit pattern, you can adjust the hop-up continuously. However, this requires the removal of the pistol slide.
While the weapon does not have a manual safety, it does feature a fully functional decocking lever. By pressing the decocking lever, the hammer is moved from the cocked position to the safety notch without having to pull the trigger. If there is a round in the chamber during this process, the pistol is secured after decocking the hammer and is ready to fire using the double action function. This prevents accidental discharge. This, as well as the slide catch lever and magazine release, can only be operated from the left side.
Also practical is that the magazine is a drop magazine. As an IPSC shooter, you can practice quick magazine changes with the airsoft pistol as well.

Mit diesen Softairwaffen kannst du günstig trainieren und bleibst bei der Auswahl deiner Trainingsumgebung flexibel.
Airsoftwaffen der SIG AIR Proforce™ Linie zählen zu den praktischsten und taktischsten auf dem Markt für freie Waffen. Bei der Entwicklung wurde großer Wert auf Einheitlichkeit gesetzt. Jedes Proforce™-Modell entspricht in seinen Eigenschaften genau seinem Gegenstück und bietet ein authentisches Schießerlebnis. Natürlich werden die Luftpistolen wie die scharfen Waffen nach SIG-Qualitätsstandards gebaut.

Zum Zielen nutzt du die starre 3-Punkt Visierung mit weißen Punkten. Um dein Trefferbild zu optimieren kannst du das Hop-Up stufenlos verstellen. Hierzu muss allerdings der Pistolen Verschluss abgenommen werden.
Die Waffe verfügt zwar über keine manuelle Sicherung, dafür aber über einen voll funktionsfähigen Entspannhebel. Durch das Drücken des Entspannhebels wird der Hahn aus der gespannten Lage in die Sicherheitsrast verschoben, ohne dass du den Abzug betätigen musst. Befindet sich dabei in der Kammer eine Kugel, so ist die Pistole nach dem Entspannen des Hahns gesichert und mit Hilfe der Double Action-Funktion schussbereit. So wird eine versehentliche Schussabgabe verhindert. Dieser, sowie der Verschlussfanghebel und der Magazin Release sind nur von links bedienbar.
Auch praktisch ist, dass es bei dem Magazin um ein Drop Magazin handelt. Als IPSC Schütze kannst du also auch mit der Airsoftpistole den schnellen Magazinwechsel üben.
