The Springfield Armory is a renowned firearms manufacturer with a rich history dating back to 1777. Originally established as a national arsenal by the US government, it played a crucial role in supplying the American military with pistols, rifles, and shotguns during various conflicts such as the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. This air pistol in caliber 4.5 is a replica of the Springfield XDM and is manufactured by WE Tech. This Co2 pistol is powered by a 12g Co2 capsule. The air gun is licensed and therefore bears all original markings as well as the Springfield Armory logo. A continuous serial number is attached to the slide. The slide of the Co2 weapon is made of metal, while the frame is made of high-strength polymer plastic. Combined with the textured pistol grip, the air pistol sits very comfortably and slip-resistant in the shooter's hand. A Picatinny rail on the underside of the Co2 pistol completes the tactical overall appearance.
Inside, a Co2 system is installed, allowing the air gun to reach an energy of approximately 1.3 Joules. Like many other Co2 weapons, the Springfield XDM Compact also features a BlowBack system. The slide cycles with each shot, just like the real weapon. The 12g Co2 cartridge is inserted into the magazine and tightened with the included Allen key. For precise shooting, a classic sighting system with rear and front sights is installed. A fiberglass rod is inserted into the front sight, while the rear sight is equipped with two white dots so you can shoot accurately even in poor lighting conditions. However, adjusting the rear and front sights is not possible. The safety of the weapon is ensured by a palm safety and a sliding switch located directly behind the rail. The trigger is a single action trigger.

In Kombination mit dem strukturierten Pistolengriff liegt die Druckluftpistole sehr angenehm und rutschfest in der Hand des Schützen. Eine Picatinny Schiene an der Unterseite der Co2 Pistole rundet das taktische Gesamtbild ab.
Im Inneren ist ein Co2 System verbaut, mit dem die Druckluftwaffe auf eine Energie von ca. 1,3 Joule kommt. Wie auch viele andere Co2 Waffen bietet auch die Springfield XDM Compact ein BlowBack System. Der Schlitten repetiert also bei jedem Schuss wie bei der echten Waffe. Die 12g Co2 Patrone wird in das Magazin eingesetzt und mit dem mitgelieferten Innensechskantschlüssel angedreht. Für das präzise Schießen ist klassisch eine Visierung aus Kimme und Korn aufgesetzt. In das Korn ist ein Fiberglas Stäbchen eingesetzt, die Kimme hingegen ist mit zwei weißen Punkten versehen damit du auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen treffsicher schießen kannst. Kimme und Korn einstellen ist allerdings nicht möglich. Die Sicherung der Waffe erfolgt über eine Handballensicherung und einen Schieberegler direkt hinter der Railschiene. Der Abzug ist ein Single Action Abzug.
Die Besonderheit dieser Luftdruck Pistole ist der wechselbare Griffrücken. In der Lieferung sind 3 unterschiedliche Griffeinsätze enthalten. Damit kann die Luftdruckpistole auf die Hand des Schützen optimiert werden.
