Haenel CR 223
With the "Competition Rifle" 223, short CR 223, the gunsmith Haenel continues its long tradition in the manufacture of semi-automatic rifles. Once, the first assault rifle in history was built and developed at C.G. Haenel in Suhl. The CR 223 is a semi-automatic rifle with piston system in caliber .223 Rem. based on the legendary AR 15 system. As a modern self-loader in centerfire configuration, the Haenel CR 223 also functions as a gas pressure loader with rotating bolt closure. The telescopic buttstock is adjustable in length in six stages. The rifle features a free-floating, cold-hammered barrel available in three different barrel lengths: 423 mm / 368 mm / 254 mm. Depending on the barrel length, the overall length ranges from 938 mm to 684 mm. The weight varies depending on the version and accessories, approximately between 3.35 kg and 3.6 kg. In addition to the direct trigger with approximately 3200 g, an optional fine trigger is also available, which releases at approximately 1500 g. The safety is ambidextrous.

M-Lok handguard in the new version
The aluminum handguard features two Picatinny rails (STANAG 4694, top/bottom). The front grip is rounded and thus flat on the sides (left/right), with M-Lok interfaces. The front grip can be removed without tools. C.G. Haenel has a long tradition as a manufacturer of semi- and fully automatic sports and service weapons: With the StG44, the first assault rifle in the world was co-developed and manufactured at Haenel in Suhl in the 20th century. All the know-how of this weapon category flowed into the new development of the civilian CR and military MK models, which meet AR-15/M4 standards. An in-house production with cold forging equipment rounds off the expertise of the Suhl specialists. Here, sports and service weapons are manufactured that set standards in international comparison – Made in Suhl, Germany.

Haenel CR 223
Mit der "Competition Rifle" 223, kurz CR 223 knüpft die Waffenschmiede Haenel an Ihre lange Tradition in der Fertigung von halbautomatischen Büchsen an. Einst wurde bei C.G. Haenel in Suhl das erste Sturmgewehr der Geschichte gebaut und entwickelt. Es handelt sich bei der CR 223 um eine halbautomatische Büchse mit Pistonsystem im Kaliber .223 Rem. auf Basis des legendären AR 15 Systems. Als moderner Selbstlader in Zentralfeuer-Ausführung, funktioniert auch die Haenel CR 223 als Gasdrucklader mit Drehkopfverschluss. Der Teleskop-Hinterschaft ist in sechs Stufen längenverstellbar. Die Büchse verfügt über einen freischwingenden, kaltgehämmerten Lauf der in drei verschiedenen Lauflängen: 423 mm / 368 mm / 254 mm erhältlich ist. Je nach Lauflänge beträgt die Gesamtlänge zwischen 938 mm und 684 mm.
Das Gewicht beträgt je nach Ausführung und Zubehör ca. zwischen 3,35 kg und 3,6 kg. Neben dem Direktabzug mit ca. 3200 g ist auch ein optionaler Feinabzug erhältlich, dieser löst bei ca. 1500 g aus. Die Sicherung ist beidseitig bedienbar.

M-Lok-Handschutz in der neuen Version
Der Aluhandschutz verfügt über zwei Picatinny-Schienen (STANAG 4694, oben/unten). Seitlich (links/rechts) ist der Vorderschaft abgerundet und dadurch flach, mit M-Lok-Schnittstellen. Der Vorderschaft ist werkzeuglos abnehmbar. C.G. Haenel hat eine lange Tradition als Hersteller von halb- und vollautomatischen Sport- und Behördenwaffen: Mit dem StG44 wurde im 20. Jahrhundert das erste Sturmgewehr der Welt bei Haenel in Suhl mitentwickelt und fabriziert. Das gesamte Know-how dieser Waffenkategorie floss in die Neuentwicklung der zivilen
