The Bock double-barrel shotgun Forest Favorit 'Hunting' features a stable wedge locking mechanism and is exclusively offered in the popular caliber 12/76. The caliber 12/76 with steel shot allows for strong shot loads if needed, which can be advantageous especially during goose hunting. Of course, all 70mm cartridges can also be fired in this caliber. Bock double-barrel shotguns are universally applicable in both hunting and sport shooting and are generally easier to handle than over-and-under shotguns. With the Bock double-barrel shotgun Forest Favorit, high shooting cadences are possible without compromising accuracy and without disadvantages for the shooter, as the fore-end encloses the lower barrel. The hand does not directly touch the hot metal as it does with an over-and-under shotgun. Furthermore, with Bock shotguns, the more linear recoil allows for the second shot to be fired slightly faster. Visually, this series features particularly beautiful shotguns with a ventilated barrel rib and an engraved receiver with hunting motifs. The barrel length is 71 cm, which facilitates the handling of this weapon in versatile hunting operations. The single trigger with mechanical switching is very practical and enables a quick succession of shots. The safety system with a trigger lock on the stock neck is quickly accessible. Die Bockdoppelflinte Forest Favorit 'Jagd' verfügt über eine stabile Keilverriegelung und wird ausschließlich im beliebten Kaliber 12/76 angeboten. Das Kaliber 12/76 mit Stahlschrotbeschuss lässt bei Bedarf starke Schrot Vorlagen zu, was gerade bei der Gänsejagd von Vorteil sein kann. Selbstverständlich lassen sich auch alle 70er Patronen in diesem Kaliber verschießen. Bockdoppelflinten sind sowohl im jagdlichen als auch im sportlichen Schießen universell einsetzbar und allgemein einfacher zu bedienen als Querflinten. Mit der Bockdoppelflinte Forest Favorit sind hohe Schusskadenzen ohne Beeinträchtigung der Trefferbilder und ohne Nachteile für den Schützen möglich – der Vorderschaft umschließt hierbei den unteren Lauf. Die Hand greift nicht direkt auf das heiße Metall wie bei einer Querflinte. Des Weiteren kann bei Bockflinten durch den gradlinigeren Rückstoß der zweite Schuß etwas schneller abgegeben werden. Optisch handelt es sich bei dieser Serie um besonders schöne Flinten mit ventiliertem Laufbündel und einer gravierten Basküle mit Jagdmotiv. Die Lauflänge beträgt 71 cm, was der Handhabung dieser Waffe im vielseitigen Jagdbetrieb entgegen kommt. Der Einabzug mit mechanischer Umschaltung ist sehr praktisch und macht eine zügige Schussfolge möglich. Das Blitzsystem mit einer Abzugssicherung auf dem Kolbenhals ist schnell erreichbar. Der Schaft ist aus schönem Nussbaumholz gefertigt.
