DJ-8 NSV – The attachment device for daytime optics
The new "DJ-8 NSV" is the first fully operational, civilian German night vision attachment that can utilize magnifications of daytime optics unrestrictedly up to over ten times.
Not only setting new standards in terms of light performance and image quality, the newly developed focusing mechanism (patent pending!) allows for a 10 – 15 cm shorter adjustment path for image sharpness compared to other devices.
The first mass-produced magnesium lens of this class (world novelty!) ensures low weight and a balanced design.
The “DJ-8 NSV” can be combined with daytime optics, such as binoculars, telescopes, and spotting scopes.
As an attachment device, it only has a 1x magnification.
In poor lighting conditions, an additional IR lamp can significantly improve image quality.
However, the large objective diameter, which is significantly above that of comparable devices, allows for a high degree of independence from IR support. This is a crucial advantage, especially in situations where light haze or fog can lead to reflections or where it is desired for other night vision devices not to use visible IR light.

DJ-8 NSV – Das Vorsatzgerät für Tagesoptiken
Bei dem Neuen „DJ-8 NSV“ handelt es sich um das Erste voll einsatzfähige, zivile deutsche Nachtsichtvorsatzgerät, dass uneingeschränkt Vergrößerungen der Tagesoptik bis über Zehn-Fach nutzen kann.
Nicht nur in Punkto Lichtleistung und Bildqualität neue Maßstäbe setzend, erlaubt die neu entwickelte Scharfstellung (Patent angemeldet!), ein um 10 – 15 cm verkürzten Einstellungsweg der Bildschärfe gegenüber anderen Geräten.
Das erste in Serie hergestellte Magnesium Objektiv dieser Klasse (Weltneuheit!) sorgt für ein geringes Gewicht und eine ausgewogene Balance.
Das “DJ-8 NSV” kann kombiniert werden mit Tagesoptiken, wie zum Beispiel Ferngläser, Fernrohre und Spektive.
Es hat als Vorsatzgerät nur eine 1-fache Vergrößerung.
Bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen kann man mit einer zusätzlichen IR-Lampe die Bildqualität noch einmal deutlich verbessern.
Der große Objektivdurchmesser, der deutlich über dem vergleichbarer Geräte liegt, erlaubt allerdings eine weitestgehende Unabhängigkeit von IR-Unterstützung. Gerade in Situationen wo leichter Dunst oder Nebel zu Reflexionen führen kann oder es aus anderen Gründen gewünscht ist kein für andere Nachtsichtgeräte sichtbares IR Licht zu nutzen, ein entscheidender Vorteil.
