EGW presenta esta base diseñada para reemplazar el alza de fábrica en pistolas 1911, facilitando la instalación de visores de punto rojo tipo Burris Docter o Vortex Viper. Este adaptador se aloja directamente en la cola de milano del alza original, permitiendo un montaje sencillo sin necesidad de realizar modificaciones en la corredera del arma. El sistema incorpora un tornillo de cabeza hexagonal ajustable que garantiza un bloqueo seguro y firme sobre la cola de milano. El conjunto incluye dos tornillos de cabeza hexagonal adicionales destinados a asegurar el visor sobre la base.
