Das Tourniquet ist leicht, handlich und passt in jeden Tasche. Solltest Du allein Unterwegs sein, kannst Du den Gurt auch ganz einfach mit einer Hand selbst anbringen. Dank der einfachen Anwendung kannst Du damit starke Blutungen gezielt und schnell stoppen.

Anwendung:
Das Tourniquet sollte stammnah angebracht werden (mindestens 5cm proximal der Verletzung). Der Druck des Tourniquets wird erhöht, bis distal kein Puls mehr tastbar ist und die Blutung steht. Das Tourniquet sollte an einer Stelle mit ausreichendem Weichteilmantel angelegt werden – keinesfalls jedoch im Bereich von Gelenken, Wundtaschen, Fremdkörpern oder offenen Frakturen.
