Un modérateur long et de grand diamètre change tout sur une arme de petit calibre : on gagne en confort de tir, mais on doit aussi gérer l’encombrement au bout du canon. Avec une longueur totale de 356 mm, ce modèle occupe clairement de la place ; cela se ressent au rangement, au transport et lors des manipulations près d’un appui ou d’une végétation dense. Le diamètre de 70 mm donne un corps très large. Concrètement, cela peut influencer la compatibilité avec certaines hausses, certains guidons ou l’usage d’organes de visée bas : selon l’arme, le tube peut masquer la ligne de mire. Sur une carabine équipée d’une optique, ce diamètre se gère plus facilement, mais il faut tout de même vérifier le dégagement autour du canon et l’espace disponible au niveau du garde-main. Le calibre annoncé reste le 22 LR : on parle donc d’un usage rimfire, typiquement sur carabines et pistolets chambrés dans ce calibre, en respectant strictement cette compatibilité.
