STORIA e TECNICA
La Uberti è il principale produttore mondiale di repliche di armi da fuoco storiche americane del XIX secolo, fondata nel 1959 da Aldo Uberti, con sede a Gardone Val Trompia, nel cuore della storica regione armiera italiana. Le armi Uberti riproducono fedelmente pesi, linee e logiche di funzionamento dei modelli d'epoca, ma nonostante l'estetica “antica”, la sicurezza e la resistenza sono garantite dall'uso di acciai di alta qualità e macchinari a controllo numerico contemporanei. La produzione Uberti spazia dai revolver ad avancarica dell'epoca della Guerra Civile Americana, come i modelli Colt Navy 1851, Remington 1858 e Colt Army 1860, ai revolver a retrocarica, tra cui spicca l'immancabile linea 1873 Cattleman replica del Colt Single Action Army, alle armi lunghe che hanno fatto la storia del West, inclusi i celebri Winchester 1866 Yellow Boy, 1873 e Henry. La fedeltà ai modelli originali, la cura nell’esecuzione e le elevate affidabilità e precisione ha reso le armi Uberti le più diffuse in ambito cinematografico e nelle gare di Tiro Western
Il Colt Bisley è stato ufficialmente introdotto nel 1894 come evoluzione specializzata del modello Single Action Army, specificamente progettato per dominare i circuiti di tiro al bersaglio della fine del XIX secolo secondo le richieste dei tiratori. Il suo nome era un omaggio al prestigioso poligono di tiro di Bisley, in Inghilterra. La collaudata meccanica del 1873 si arricchiva di un’impugnatura dalla migliore ergonomia (secondo gli standard dell’epoca), di un cane a basso profilo dalla superficie di presa più ampia e un grilletto più largo. La produzione del Bisley si estese dal 1894 fino al 1912, con un totale di circa 44.350 unità prodotte
