De kolf is recht en de verticale drop bij de hiel is gemaakt door de metalen plaat. De kolf is beschikbaar met een linker of rechter kromming van 3,5 mm. Gemaakt van walnoot hout, gedroogd tot 16%.
Aangezien hout een levend materiaal is en onderhevig is aan lichte vervormingen door vocht en uitdroging, kan het nodig zijn dat er lichte aanpassingen nodig zijn aan de delen die in contact staan met het actieframe tijdens het bekleden/montage.
