Bella express rifle break-action rifle by Spingers Erben Wien. The firearm was delivered on 08.02.1881 to a Baron Ludwig … unfortunately the surname in the Springer firearms register is very unclear. The firearm was listed as .450 Express. According to my research and after casting the chamber, I think it is an 11.6x82R. A very common cartridge at the time. The cartridge is only slightly narrower in the middle than the later .450 BPE or .450 NE, so the chamber could be reamed and you could easily get cases, or slightly resize the .450 BPE case. The rifle is in a nice condition for its age, everything works and the bolt is tight. Only has the original stamps, no proofing. If interested, happy to provide more info and pictures. Schöne Expressbüchse Kipplaufbüchse von Spingers Erben Wien . Die Waffe wurde am 08.02.1881 an einen Baron Ludwig … ausgeliefert, leider ist der Nachnahme im Waffenbuch von Springer sehr undeutlich geschrieben. Die Waffe wurde als .450 Express gelistet. Nach meinen Recherchen und nach Abguss des Patronenlager denke ich das es sich um eine 11,6x82R handelt. Eine damals sehr gebräuchliche Patrone. Die Patrone ist nur ganz leicht in der Mitte schmaler als die spätere .450 BPE oder .450 NE, man könnte also das Lager nachreiben und könnte dann einfach Hülsen bekommen, oder die .450 BPE Hülse etwas drücken.
Die Büchse ist für das Alter in einem schönen zustand alles funktioniert und der Verschluss ist dicht.
Hat nur die originalen Stempel, kein Neubeschuss.
