Zu den Features des Modells RT 627 STS zählen neben dem gummierten Griff, ein SA/DA-Abzug, ein festes Korn mit verstellbarer Kimme, sowie das „Taurus Security System“ (TSS), welches durch einen separaten Schlüssel betrieben wird (Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn) und im eingerasteten Zustand ein Spannen des Hahns, sowie die Abgabe eines Schusses verhindert. Der Transfer-Bar-Mechanismus verhindert zudem, dass das Schlagstück den Schlagbolzen berührt, sofern der Abzug nicht vollständig nach hinten durchgezogen wird.
