Con una canna Bull da 32" e una lunghezza totale di 127 cm, questo fucile di precisione non si adatta a tutti i armadietti per armi. A causa del calibro, questo fucile a singolo colpo non è adatto a tutti i poligoni di tiro - con circa 15.000 Joule, il recupero deve essere adeguatamente rimosso. Il silenziatore a 3 camere e il peso elevato dell'arma riducono il rinculo durante lo sparo. Un singolo caricatore con un'eccellente precisione.

Der Einzellader M99 von BARRETT ist schon eine Großkaliberbüchse der besonderen Art. Mit einem 32"-Bullbarell und einer Gesamtlänge von 127 cm,passt dieses Präzisionsgewehr nicht in jeden Waffenschrank. Kaliberbedingt passt diese Einzelladerbüchse auch nicht auf jeden Schießstand - mit ca. 15.000 Joule muss der Kugelfang entsprechend abgenommen sein. Der 3-Kammer-Feuerdämpfer und das hohe Waffengewicht reduzieren den Rückstoß bei der Schußabgabe.
