Bei diesem Update wurde vor allem Wert auf ein harmonisches Gesamtsystem gelegt: Der Mittelrohrdurchmesser konnte von 36 mm auf 30 mm reduziert werden, was jedoch keine Einbußen bei der Performance mit sich bringt. Zudem gibt es ab jetzt eine noch größere Auswahl an Kombinationen von Modell und Absehen - das ZEISS V8 2,8-20x56 ist daher ab sofort auch mit Absehen 43 erhältlich und optional ohne Absehenschnellverstellung (ASV).
