Nach mehr als einem Jahrhundert der Entwicklung ist John Moses Brownings ehrwürdige Single-Action-Halbautomatik immer noch sehr populär. Die Waffe, die das Savage-Modell 1907 übertraf und zur M1911 des US-Militärs wurde, erhält nun die Savage-Behandlung. Der Savage 1911 ist aus Edelstahl gefertigt und verfügt über eine doppelte Rückstoßfeder sowie einen maschinell bearbeiteten Abzugshebel und Trennschalter. Während der Look eine Hommage an das Original ist, ist die Savage 1911 für den harten Einsatz gebaut. Vom nitridbeschichteten Titan-Schlagbolzen bis zur Zielkrone auf dem Lauf bietet dieser 1911 Genauigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit.
