The Cadex Defence Gen2 Unitized Quick-Detachable Cantilever modular Scope Mount was designed for use on AR-15 and AR-10 type rifles and offers Absolute Co-witness for most clip-on NV units on AR platforms and features an ultra-lightweight, ventilated body and dual-lever side clamps on the left side of the mount and adjustable tension screws on the opposite side of the mount. The Gen2 features 4 pcs Integral recoil lugs and clamps made of 416 Stainless Steel as well as 12-screw pattern top rings. They can withstand even a caliber of more than 14.5x114mm. The Gen2 models are modular Scope mounts, the front and rear top rings are interchangeable and available with different interfaces, they are compatible with all QD and QD Cantilever models. The Housing are machined from a solid one-piece aluminum billet for maximum rigidity and perfect alignment between the front and rear rings. Target distances are getting farther, calibers are more powerful than ever and riflescopes are constantly getting heavier. For these reasons, a Top-Quality Scope Mount is arguably the most important element of a Precision Rifle package.
