The OSA non-lethal pistols, certified as signal pistols in Germany (category B), are used by the Russian and Kazakh special forces, the military police and the police. It has also been supplied to the USA, Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries and is NATO-certified.
The rubber bullets with a steel core offer perfect accuracy of 10 mm at 30 m and excellent stopping power.
The stopping power of the OSA exceeds that of the COLT, or S&W without causing penetrating wounds. In the 20-year history of its use by the police, no fatalities have been recorded.
