Welcome to the next generation of professional grade, premium performance. The L7AWM® GEN 2 Advanced Warfighter Magazine® is constructed from lightweight polymer with hardened steel feed lips that wrap completely around the magazine to maximize stiffness and reliability while preventing dimpling in the front of the magazine. A switchable drain lock in the floor plate comes standard on all L7’s, allowing the user to configure the magazine for marine applications or extremely dusty conditions. While it can oftentimes be difficult to improve upon excellence, Lancer’s engineers are constantly looking for ways to provide our customers with the absolute best products possible. After years of research, modeling, testing, and re-design, the Lancer engineering team has developed a magazine that is certain to set a new standard of performance within the professional use category. Featuring a new, precision engineered, hardened steel feedlip geometry and advanced floorplate lock design, the new L7AWM GEN 2 delivers optimized cartridge stacking, enhanced round presentation, exceptional round retention, and bulletproof feeding performance and reliability. Our newly designed GEN 2 feedlips won’t wear, bend, crack, deform, or split under heavy sustained fire, extreme temperature cycling, or extended storage, creating a magazine that is tough enough for military, law enforcement, and competition applications. PROFESSIONAL ADVANTAGES Increased Durability and Reliability Up to 22% reduction in insertion force on a closed bolt Proprietary polymer body offers unmatched durability, even in sub-freezing conditions (tested from -40F to +180F / -40°C to +82°C) Hardened steel feed lips don’t wear, bend, crack, deform, or split under heavy sustained fire, extreme temperature cycling, or extended storage Impact and chemical resistant polymer body meets or exceeds military testing standards Non-tilt follower with stainless steel spring allows for loaded mag storage without degrading performance Round markers and translucent bodies (certain models) provide instant visual load check The L7AWM is designed to be compatible with a multiple of weapon systems, including the ARMALITE AR-10A, AM-10, DAR-10, CMMG Mk3, TINCK ARMS X-17, DPMS AR-10, SIG 716, LMT, LM308, POF P308, and S&W M&P-10 as well as other models on the SR-25 platform chambered in .308 Win or 6.5 Creedmoor.
