System wymienne IGB wykonane jest ze stali i zapewnia najlepsze wyniki przy niskim koszcie zabawy. W obsłudze i zachowaniu podczas strzału daje uczucie bardzo zbliżone do wersji w dużym kalibrze. Wszystkie stalowe elementy są nitrylowane. Wewnętrzne części, takie jak iglica, wyrzutnik itp., są częściami OEM i łatwo wymiennymi.
Lufa wykonana jest z specjalnej i sprawdzonej stali lufowej IGB. Surowiec jest produkowany, przetwarzany i następnie plasmanitrowany w ich zakładzie. Lufa w opcji Pro-Sport lub Heavy-Duty Upgrade posiada gwint 1/2 x 28 UNEF, aby można było używać różnych akcesoriów. Zestaw zawiera osłonę gwintu z tworzywa sztucznego.
Zaleca się stosowanie amunicji wysokiej jakości do systemów samopowtarzalnych. Ekstremalnie mocna amunicja, taka jak Stinger, MaxiMag czy inne pociski o hiperprędkości, nie jest konieczna i nie jest zalecana. Dotychczas przetestowano: Remington HV22, Eley Tenex, RWS Rifle Match, RWS R100, RWS LR Solid, Federal Classic, Fiocchi Maxac, CCI Green Tag, CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Minimag, Lapua Trainer, S&B Club oraz GECO .22lr Semi-Auto.

Das IGB Wechselsystem ist aus Stahl gefertigt und liefert beste Ergebnisse bei günstigem Spaß. Es ergibt, in Handhabung und Schussverhalten, ein Gefühl das der Grosskaliberversion sehr nahe kommt. Sämtliche Stahlteie sind nitriert. Die Innenteile wie Schlagbolzen, Auszieher usw. sind OEM Teile und leicht austauschbar.
Der Lauf ist aus speziellem und bewährtem IGB Laufstahl gefertigt. Der Rohling wird in deren Haus erzeugt, verarbeitet und anschliessend plasmanitriert. Der Lauf verfügt bei der Pro-Sport oder Heavy-Duty Upgradeoption, über ein 1/2 x 28 UNEF Gewinde um eine Vielzahl von Zubehör verwenden zu können. Ein Gewindeschutz aus Kunststoff wird mitgeliefert.
Die Verwendung Qualitäts Munition für Selbstladesysteme wird empfohlen. Extrem starke munition wie Stinger, MaxiMag oder anderen Hypervelocity Patronen ist nicht notwendig und auch nicht empfohlen. Getestet bisher sind: Remington HV22, Eley Tenex, RWS Rifle Match, RWS R100, RWS LR Solid, Federal Classic, Fiocchi Maxac, CCI Green Tag, CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Minimag, Lapua Trainer, S&B Club sowie GECO .22lr Semi-Auto.
