The MK V Competition Compensator is the final product of our years of compensator (re)development. The result is the most effective, flatest-shooting comp we've ever produced. And since there's no point in starting in second place, we put this design up against the best comps on the market and didn't start cutting chips until we could confirm we'd topped out on performance. For decades, our JP Recoil Eliminator was the unmatched king of comps. After it was exiled to 3-Gun's Open division for being too effective, we did what we could to harness its power in a 1"x3" profile with our Competition Series line. But with years of continuing innovation across the industry, we knew there was an even better way than just throwing gasses against baffles. The result is a comp far more effective than we could ever have imagined back in the 90s.After years of rigorous theorizing, iterating, and testing, the MK V Competition Comp is the outgrowth of our John Paul Signature Series limited run of premium welded brakes released in 2024. We spent another year refining that design along with the manufacturing to make this amazing design more accessible. The MK V is the new pinnacle of JP compensator design and recoil reduction innovation with greater than 35% improvement in recoil reduction over our original Recoil Eliminator.Weight: 5.6 oz.Features:Innovative Design: This compensator employs advanced mass flow modeling to harness nearly 100% of the muzzle gas. Unlike traditional designs, the MK V maximizes efficiency with five uniquely tuned baffles, each sculpted for optimal gas capture and redirection.Precision Engineering: Each baffle surface, port size, and spacing is meticulously crafted to extend the deceleration window and provide smooth muzzle impulse moderation.Shooter Friendly: The no-shortcut design of the MK V keeps the shooter in mind by maximizing effectiveness while redirecting gasses away from the shooter to minimize punishing blast and concussion.Super Durability: Rock-hard nitride finish provides remarkable natural lubricity for easier cleaning and a fine cosmetic finish.Universal Form Factor: Not only does the MK V surpass all those designs that came before, it does while still holding a 1" x 3" size.Specifications:1/2-28 UNEFOutside diameter: 25,30mmJP Premium Crush Washer includedFor caliber .223 / 5.56Stainless steel polished
