BS B4

With the Bergstutzen B4 Merkel offers a combined rifle for versatile game hunting with the bullet. A Bergstutzen is a compact rifle that combines two bullet barrels of different calibers in one weapon - usually a barrel in a caliber suitable for cloven-hoofed game with a barrel in a small caliber.

Merkel relies on a lock-in system for the BS B4, which is intended to provide a high level of safety, as well as a double fine trigger. The gun has a total weight of about 3.3kg and an overall length of 97cm with a barrel length of 55cm.

The calibers of the large and small bullet can be combined in many ways. Merkel offers combinations of the small calibers .222 Rem. / .223 Rem. / 5.6x52R and the calibers 7x57R / 7x65R / .308 Win. / .30-06 Spring. / .30R Blaser / 8x57IRS / 9.3x74R suitable for cloven-hoofed game. Combinations of barrels of other calibers are possible on request.
