Self-loading rifle from Haenel. The CR 223 is an indirect gas-operated loader with a modified M4 stock, making the weapon ambidextrous.
The CR 223 is very safe due to the “indirect gas extraction” which minimizes the accumulation of dirt from powder gases. The safety of the weapon can be engaged in a relaxed state. It features a dry-standing direct trigger or fine trigger. The handguard on the barrel is removable without tools, and it has a mechanical folding sight.
The “Competition Rifle” 223 is a semi-automatic rifle based on the legendary AR 15 system. The telescopic buttstock is adjustable in six stages, thus meeting the ergonomic requirements of every shooter. Depending on the barrel length (42.3 cm / 36.8 cm / 25.4 cm), the length of the weapon ranges from 93.8 cm to 68.4 cm; the weight corresponds to between 3.35 kg and 3.6 kg. The safety directly at the trigger (weight between 3200 - 1500 g) is ambidextrous.
