Mercury Chili Edge

Mercury, a private label of Frankonia, mainly manufactures simply designed over-and-under and semi-automatic shotguns as well as repeaters, but also air rifles. One of the most well-known air rifles from Mercury is the Chili Edge model, caliber 4.5mm Diabolo. The cocking mechanism works by bending the barrel, and a safety at the end of the system automatically springs into the rear position to prevent accidental firing. The weapon features a plastic stock, and the system and barrel are blued. In addition to a telescopic sight, a standard fiber optic sight is also available. The weapon bears the marking “F in a pentagon,” which means that the weapon does not exceed 7.5 Joules and is available for sale to individuals aged 18 and over. 

Frankonia is a German company based in Rottendorf, Franconia. It is represented at 24 locations throughout Germany. The company sells hunting and sporting firearms, including accessories and functional clothing, as well as traditional clothing. The products are particularly convincing due to their price-performance ratio. In addition to Mercury, Frankonia has several other private labels, such as Forest Favourite or Gladius.
