Bolt Action · Centerfire · Cleaning Rod Guide
Bore Tech Bore Guide: Center the rod, keep chemicals out of the action The Bore Guide replaces the removed bolt as a guide channel in suitable centerfire bolt actions. It aligns the cleaning rod with the barrel axis and seals the chamber with a soft nosecone against leaking cleaning fluid.
Four factors decide: caliber range, bolt body diameter, action geometry, and sufficient cleaning rod length.

Our honest assessment

The guide makes sense if you want to clean from the chamber to the muzzle and don’t want the rod to move loosely through the action. The wide solvent opening allows you to wet patches or brushes in a controlled way without spreading chemicals unnecessarily inside the receiver.
It is not a universal adapter. The standard collar is only intended for a defined bolt body range; different actions require a custom collar.

Fits well if … … you have a suitable centerfire bolt action with a removable bolt and want to clean from the rear.
… caliber range, action dimensions, and cleaning rod length are clarified in advance.

Probably not suitable if … … you want to clean rimfire, AR, or other semi-auto platforms.
… the bolt body deviates from the standard size or your existing rod becomes too short due to the additional guide.

Variant selection and practical effect

.17–.25 For the smallest offered caliber range. Jag, brush, and patch must also fit.

.25–.30 Mid-range shop variant. With the available data

Standard-Collar ≠ elke action: Beschikbare Bore-Tech-gegevens noemen ongeveer 0,695–0,700 inch bolt body diameter.

Black Raptor · Passing boven comfort
