Gun Rest Bag 2-piece | RAM Tactical – Adjustable rifle support system

The RAM Tactical Gun Rest Bag is a two-piece rifle support system designed to stabilise air rifles during shooting. This polyester support set arrives unfilled, allowing you to customise firmness and weight by adding rice, split peas, or similar granular materials. The system includes a larger front rest and smaller rear rest for balanced rifle positioning.

Construction and materials

Manufactured from durable polyester fabric in green, these shooting bags feature reinforced bands for enhanced grip on shooting surfaces. The unfilled design allows complete control over support characteristics – more filling creates firmer support while less filling provides flexibility to conform to weapon contours. Rice or split peas are recommended filling materials due to their ideal weight-to-volume ratio and minimal leakage through seams.

Application and use

These rifle supports are primarily used by sport shooters for training and zeroing applications. The two-piece configuration suits various rifle types and shooting positions, helping reduce movement during aim acquisition. Particularly beneficial for extended shooting sessions or precision work where stable rifle positioning is critical.

Integration and compatibility

The universal design accommodates most air rifle configurations without specific mounting requirements. The separate front and rear bags allow flexible positioning to suit different stock profiles and shooting benches. Fill level adjustment enables compatibility with various rifle weights and balance points.
