Workshop mark: Franz Schmied Ferlach 50.55 – a drilling made entirely by hand.Proofed in 1955 – consecutive workshop number: 1082Attribution to Franz Schmied based on 50.55, with 50 standing for Franz Schmied Ferlach, who made these drillings to order.Specifications & calibers:.270 Winchester12/76 shotgun shells.22 HornetPLEASE NOTE: The barrels can be perfectly adjusted relative to each other using set screws—a truly unique feature.Scope: Swarovski Habicht 2.2-9x42 (variable)The rifle also underwent a comprehensive overhaul this year. The stock had a crack that was effectively repaired by a true expert. In addition, the firearm was fitted with newly made breech faces at MSZU in Ulm and completely resealed. The gunsmith then sighted in the drilling for lead-free ammunition. The rifle has been fully inspected and is ready for hunting. Invoices for the refurbishment, stock repair, and work at MSZU are of course available—over €1,000 has been invested. The Swarovski has clearly seen its share of mountain hunts. The lenses are still clear and transmit light perfectly, and the adjustments move smoothly.Feel free to get in touch with any questions. More photos from any angle are available on request.
