Steyr Sport still offers an original Air Kit for converting the LP1 from CO₂ to compressed air. The current Steyr kit with article number 4002090550 includes, among other things, a working valve and compressed air cartridge. The pistol can thus be converted to today's compressed air operation if needed, without having to replace the entire match pistol.
