Uberti 1866 Yellow Boy Carbine .38 Sp. (mfg. 1972) – VISUALLY TOP / PURE PARTS DONOR! (Defective)

Identified Defect – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:Due to material fatigue of the brass housing from the early production year (1972), the topstrap of the brass frame on this firearm has stretched. The upper frame bridge bends downward as a result. The bolt slides against the underside of the frame. The side plates protrude noticeably and with sharp edges upwards. The bolt gap may no longer be correct. The firearm is NOT ready to fire, life-threatening when discharged, and is explicitly sold as DEFECTIVE and for parts only! A total economic loss for shooting use, but an absolute goldmine of parts for hobbyists, collectors, or gunsmiths.Condition of the parts:The firearm was taken over at the beginning of the year from an estate as a pure display piece and has only fired a few hundred rounds since. Therefore, the optical and mechanical condition of the individual parts is absolutely excellent and almost like new:Barrel: The rare carbine round barrel with barrel band is mirror-bright inside, the rifling is sharp as on day one.Wood: Both the forestock and the buttstock (specific carbine shape) show beautiful wood and are nearly flawless, without deep scratches or dents.Internals: The complete lock internals (knees, hammer, trigger, springs, loading gate, and bolt) show hardly any wear. Perfect for owners of older Uberti models, as these original replacement parts are hardly available new anymore.Brass attachments: The carrier block and the curved carbine stock cap are undamaged. The price is negotiable within a fair range. Ideal for someone who wants to upgrade their old Uberti visually or mechanically with like-new original parts.Viewing or pickup possible in the Warstein area (Soest district). Alternatively, shipping via overnight at the buyer’s expense.Questions are gladly answered, further photos can be sent if needed. ⚖️ Legal & Processing (Important!):Acquisition authorization: Legally, this remains a firearm requiring a permit, as the essential parts (barrel/frame) are present. Sale as explicitly defective, non-functional firearm ONLY to holders of a valid acquisition permit (e.g. Yellow/Green WBK, hunting license, or firearms trade license WHL).NWR notification: Processing is strictly according to legal requirements via the National Weapons Register.
